Bounded by Kentucky Lake (TVA-impounded Tennessee River) and Lake Barkley (USACE-impounded Cumberland River). Managed by USFS since 1998 (transferred from TVA). Reservoir shorelines remain under TVA §26a (Kentucky Lake) and USACE Section 10/408 (Lake Barkley) jurisdictions. Marshall, Lyon, Trigg, Calloway, Livingston, Caldwell, Christian KY counties have meaningful TVA/USACE shoreline exposure. Local docks-and-shoreline ordinances are advisory; federal approval controls.
