Research notes

ADUs by-right on any residential or mixed-use parcel statewide. Size limits: 1,200 sf detached, 50% of primary or 1,000 sf (whichever less) attached, 500 sf JADU. No parking required near transit / in historic districts / within existing structure. Cities cannot require minimum lot size or connection fees >$0 for units <750 sf.
