Click to place or remove stairs on the building section. Each stair is a vertical edge connecting floor nodes. Remove one and watch egress fail. Two stairs = two paths = code compliance.
A stair isn't a thing — it's a connection between floor-level subgraphs. The code doesn't care about the stair. It cares about the graph connectivity it provides.
