Room of Requirements
Below is a table of how I might begin with room based services. Today, I’m primarily worried about life safety, as that will drive door sizing (minimums) between rooms, and an active life safety algorithm will need to be a part of this for anyone to trust it. Rooms with larger load factors will require more doors/exits per unit of size. Also noted is some form of the required services that those rooms will have.

Given the code, the minimum door needs to be 32″ wide, which can serve up to an ungodly large bedroom for exiting, but not even enough for 1000 SF of assembly space. Check out the math:
The code is controlling for owners that are making fire traps, and being reasonable that even an 20×20 bedroom doesnt need more than one exit.
This lead me on a wild journey through the code to find some kind of value to a door, but alas, I think we need to split the analysis into buildings with one door, and buildings with two plus doors. The proof is that Egress path width requirements clearly make that first door (32″ minimum) clearly needed. Massive data table below to consider.
Door Width | Occupancy Type | Load Factor | Width (in) | Door Area (sq ft) | Occupancy Load Limits Per Door | Required Exits | Sprinkler System | Travel Distance | Fire Resistance Rating |
